Most people who are suffering from sleep apnea has some heart problems. In the case of my dad, he experienced stroke before. My mom usually takes care of my dad especially during sleep. We also bought an oxygen machine to help him. However, when my dad was all alone in the house, he had a heart attack which led to his death. I was the first one who have seen him when he died; he was struggling to reach the phone and call for emergency but unfortunately death took him. My dad also has obstructive sleep apnea. Unfortunately many people, myself included, are CPAP intolerant, which basically means that you cannot sleep even with the use of those machines.
