I've been through many sleep studies and I have tried both cpap and bipap. I couldn't get use to either one of them. The last doctor I saw suggested that surgery might be my only option. I don't know that I believe that. Surgery doesn't always work so I'm continuing to look for a more nonevasive remedy. I’ve had sleep apnea for years. I've wanted to get one for years now, but the cost while uninsured is outrageous. Also, those airway pressure machines aren't exactly affordable without some coverage either. So I guess this is another one of those illnesses that can only be treated by the well-funded.
